What this site is
Grat & Firn is a static informational website — plain pages of text, images, and one client-side JavaScript comparison tool. It does not run a database, does not require an account, and does not process payments, bookings, or personal data submissions of any kind.
What is, and isn't, collected
This site does not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking pixels. The Ascent Comparison tool on the homepage runs entirely in your browser — the answers you select are never transmitted anywhere, stored anywhere, or seen by us; they only exist in your browser's memory while the page is open and disappear the moment you close or reload it.
The contact page
The Contact page lists a plain email address. If you choose to email us, that message is handled through our regular email provider like any other email — we don't operate a web form that stores submissions in a database on this site.
Third-party sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data, because this site does not collect any in the first place. The one external resource loaded by every page is Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces; Google's own privacy policy governs that connection, not this one.
Data retention
There is no user data stored by this site to retain or delete, aside from any email you personally choose to send us, which is retained only as long as normal for any personal correspondence and not aggregated or analyzed.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected through the site itself, there is nothing on our systems to request access to, correct, or delete beyond any email correspondence you've sent us — for that, simply ask via the contact page and we'll remove it from our inbox on request.
Children's privacy
This site does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, since it does not collect personal information from any visitor at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if we add an analytics tool in the future — we'll update this page and the date below, and describe the change plainly rather than burying it in boilerplate.
